Flotsam and Jetsam

Imagine walking barefoot along a beach, perhaps by a river or the ocean. Along the shore, we discover objects washed up by the water—fragments of unknown origins, each carrying its own story.
Where have you come from? What have you witnessed? Perhaps you are a piece of a sunken ship. What happened to its passengers? A torn piece of fabric, a stained canvas, a fragment of a sail?
Looking at an abstract painting can be much like discovering something washed ashore. We encounter unfamiliar shapes, colors, and traces, wondering where they came from and what stories they might tell. Just as we examine a piece of driftwood or a mysterious object found on the beach, we approach the painting with curiosity, allowing our imagination to give meaning to what we see.
